January, 2013: FVA held many Ringling Circus demos to help educate the attendees about the animal abuses that Ringling imposes on the wild animals.

October 13th, 2012: The 3rd Annual Tampa Bay Veg Fest featured local restaurants with vegetarian and vegan food; live music; fun and games for kids; healthy-living and eco-friendly exhibitors; info on local nonprofits; animal adoptions; and well-known national and local guest speakers.

September 15th, 2012: FVA held its annual Dog & Car Wash at Rolling Oats, Cypress & MacDill, to benefit The Little Cats Rescue.

March 25th, 2012: FVA held its annual Have-a-Heart Fundraising Dinner and Silent Auction at Trang Viet Cuisine. Lots of fun outbidding others and socializing.  Guest speaker was Michael Budkie from SAEN

February 2012: FVA had an educational table at the Florida State Fair for 12 days! We educated fair attendees about the plight of farmed animals. See photos of our tabling

Sept. & Oct. 2010: FVA members attended meetings of the Animal Advisory Board of Hillsborough County to show support during discussions of a dog Anti-Tethering Ordinance. To sign the anti-tethering petition click here.
